My brother used to live there but is in California now. I Know there are a few shops up here in New England that would be stoked to carry your boards.

Orlando's pretty far inland. Are you planning a side-trip to Coco Beach? Used to be a really cool surf town. Think Kelly S. and Sean Ordonez are from there. I grew up in South Florida on the coast but left for Maui 20 years ago.     Florida is an interesting place but way too crowded and hectic now. Beautiful beaches though... Miles and miles of wide white sand.  Course you wont see that in Orlando.. Not my favorite town at all... yuck.

The Foote-Maui crew will be there. Always up for a paddle. My wife was so stoked when she saw the size of the pool at the condo complex she said ''look, I can paddle in the pool''.

It would be nothing short of awesome for as many of us to go for a paddle.. but as Noworries said ..for a side trip..Orlando is about 50 minutes from Coco Beach. I for one, will be headed to the airport for my much needed Maui trip. Really looking forward to meeting some of you guys in person. I will have some of my newest stand-up paddle surf art, on display.....Rick

Blaine Chambers I think your best bet would be Ron Jon Surf Shop.  Their HQ is in Coco Beach and they could be big really big for SUP.  On another note my good bro Owns and runs the La Quinta in Coco.  Give me a call and I can get you the right names and numbers of the people you need to talk to. 
My bro's name at La Quita is JJ Turk and tell them Dan Gavere sent ya.  He will have a Special rate for my bro's and particularly SUP peeps.

hey i know where that is....thats about all i know though...my one time to disney world we went to ROn Jons and then to the beach right behind...i said "HEY this looks just like KAILUA...man-o-wars and all"... ...course back then i was looking at it with a skimboarder eye...with a SUP eye it has much more potential....

The RJ shop in Coco is open 24 hrs a day too!
Just in case you need to buy a new sup setup after hitting one of the many strip clubs.  LOL  That is IF you have any money left.  Or "like me your not puking your guts out from drinking just a little too much"

    Blane... O-town is not surf central. The Spacecoast is - RonJon's, Cocoa Beach Surf Company, Oceansportsworld(talk to Roy - maybe he can hook you up with a competent local SUP rider), Longboard House, Cape Surf, and Catalyst would be a good start. As far as a sesh is concerned: IF YOU POST IT, THEY WILL COME...

I will be there.  Its a pretty good show.  Used to go all the time but have not been in a couple of years.  If anyone is looking to paddle before the show please let me know.  Maybe a bunch of us from the forum can meet up somewhere for a session.
