Naish Mana 7'9"
« on: November 17, 2009, 02:05:14 PM »
Hi Everyone!

Does anybody have any feedback on this board? I rode it for a session on Maui and liked it.
Just wondering if anyone else can give an opinion before I make my purchase.

We had one on demo at the Mambo a couple of weeks ago and it's an amazing little board.

I thought that with it being so small it would be more of a kids board but most people paddling it were about 80-90kgs (178-198lbs) and they were having no problem using it.. It's very stable.

I heard many say that it was their favorite board that they demo'ed... I took some pics for those who've never seen one.

Wow it looks like Joe Blairs 8'11 model. I thought 8'10 was small but looks like there going smaller. Any performance feedback? If the price is right might have to get one for the family.

I need a board for my girls - that looks like just the ticket.  It looks like the SUP version of a Paipo!

I'm guessing that it's about 130-140 ltrs and the price should be about the same as a 9'5" Mana or 8'0" Hokua.

They are available in shops here in Oz right now so they shouldn't be far off in the US or where ever you live.

It's great that Naish have taken a bit of a gamble with this board and I think they've hit the nail on the head.. and it's good that they are not just following trends.

There are usually three things most people look for when they buy something; function, looks and price. It seems a shame if you can't post the price of something here. Just my 2 cents...

Could you post a review when you get more time on it please? I'd like to know the weight of board with pad/fins too if you get a chance.

Thanks and congrats on the new board.:)

They have 2 that just been unpacked at Kailua,Hi. My question is do you buy a 7'9,9'5 or a any Naish mana because they all sell for the same price 1399.00. Is that just weird?
