thanks b. the naish hokua 8'0" is a magic carpet. it goes really good rail to rail due to its vee bottom. wow, even bottom turns are crazy fun. the trade-off, of course, is a very tippy board. the performance rewards are well worth the amount of work it takes to not fall. here's a couple of clips

note the constant micro-adjustments before and after the wave on this one:

Hey Waterlogged.  Nice board and neat perspective from that paddle-cam.  Kinda makes me dizzy when you're paddling ;D...  I'm riding a sub-eight footer myself and fully agree that the trade-offs are worth the performance gains size-wise...    Later,     JD

Thanks JD. Every session is getting better stability-wise, but man, my legs are sore! I'm finding it easier to constantly paddle the board between waves vs. waiting idly. It's more work, but again, it's well worth it.

Aloha
Mike

Absolutely Mike...  Just standing still will wear you flat-ass out in a hurry!  I look at it as "a workout while standing still"  ;D...    Keep it moving,            JD

What do you guys use to mount it on the paddle?  Duct Tape or the wrist strap mount?  I'm waiting on the HD version to ship but they dont have a wrist strap for it yet.
