Deck Denting

Hi all, not sure if this is the right forum for my query but here goes, I have a mistral pacifico wave and have noticed that the deck area around where you stand is dented, as in there are impressions from your feet, the deck is still solid just not the original shape, also underneath the board there appears to be a very slight ripple, again only slight and its still solid, has anyone else experienced thia and is it anything to worry about.

how old is the board ?

with a year of good use the deck will dent from repeated foot pressure
nothing to worry about unless you get cracks or if the board is very new
(but even then a heel can dent a new board first time out)

Hi, I bought the board second hand, its about a year old, the dents seem to have got a little worse, I don't mind them as long as they do no harm, and so long as it doesn't end up looking like a sit on top kayak, lol

I have had this happen with my surfboards a number of times so I added  track top (deck Pad) to cover the indents and it was fine after that
usually it is more a cosmetic thing than any actual damage
