This lazy winger setup looks interesting, I haven't tried it though so don't have a good sense of how it compares to a traditional setup - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Z7lHfCbj_U

I hand stitched the waist straps on a Patagonia waterproof fanny, and added a nug hook. On some of my wings I have a small spectra loop on one handle, and a length of 5mm cord attached to the other with a series of overhand knots so I can girth hitch the little loop to one of them or another to adjust length. On one wing both ends of the 5 mm cord are attached to the wing with fisherman’s knots, so I can slide one up to the other side to get it out of the way if doing a maneuver session.

I like simple cord because I like to “play the sheet” in puffs.
