Adios Spring 2022

One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"

Very nice - hope u get some decent summer waves. Don’t know about you but I’m done with the wetsuit. Can’t wait to get out for a few trunking sessions 🤙

Looks like the last days of May were good to you. I always like seeing your videos.

Just checked our water temperature for Surfside and Quintana beaches on the upper Texas coast where I surf and the water temperature is between 83-85 degrees F. depending on day or night readings. No need for wetsuits.

No wetties is besties! I forget to mention that June 10 the water was a slightly frigid 58F. I was fine in a 3/2 no boots, that isd until I fell in! Dat wata cold! Coupla proners were bummin' sittin' around waiting on sets. Upwelling phenomena.

Really nice Cookie. I'm jealous. We've had swell but the frick'n south wind will not let up. It just wonks it out to the point the point of "I'll pass". So evening distance paddleboard loops in the harbor is all my water time. The two days we had no wind, the surf was <1'  :'(
I shouldn't complain, the weather is nice, summer is here, and I live a few blocks from the ocean. What else could you want!  ::)
It's not overhead to me!

Nice video as always. I'm still wearing a full suit (though it's a 2/3) because the Columbia is hovering around 55. The water temperature depends on how much water the dams are reading, and right now, it's a lot, though we've had higher flow years that didn't seem quite so cold. The air temperature has been low too, so my shorty spring suit is in the truck--rested and ready.

Great video! Really enjoy all the videos you put out there. Helps a novice like me who is trying to put it all together.

I’m just North be of you in Lavallette. Have been out in the water for the last few years, but feel like I’m just starting to catch waves and ride them down the line.

Was another great swell yesterday and today with clean conditions and 3-4 foot waves…hopefully you got a chance to catch some as well.
