Sorry, fake news.  Calderon did not mention SUP boards nor does his comment imply anything about SUPs or surfing.  "Single-use plastics" is used to refer to things like plastic sandwich bags, drinking straws, etc.  Absolutely nothing to do with SUP boards or any kind of surfboard.
