Are there places along the 8.5 miles of the Ranch that you can pitch a tent without getting kicked out?

Sure...on a boat...wouldn't be fun in the wind, though...sometimes just getting a SUP in and out of a board bag on a boat is a major PITA...;-)

But can you pitch a tent on the beach without getting kicked out? Nice photos.

By law, the beach below the mean high-tide line is public...I suppose if you somehow found a section of dry sand below the MHHW mark you could...but, that doesn't mean that you wouldn't get harassed...especially, by owners that drive their 4X4 rigs on those doable sections of the beach...and, it wouldn't be pretty if you were caught by a guard relieving yourself...etc...
