Wake Foil
« on: June 04, 2018, 04:55:41 AM »
Since it is flat here in Texas, I'm spending time foiling behind the boat. So, to share the stoke, I took out an ol friend and he was foiling on the 200 in less than an hour. He's a 150lb and the 200 started flying at 6.5 mph....so cool to see him advance so quickly.  We plan on spending more time on the lake and want to migrate to a wake foil. This video shows a rig with a very shallow Tuttle box. Does any Zoner have any experience with this box? Where can I get one...ect.

The Gong foil uses a deep Tuttle box. I used to own that foil. Gong boards use the deep Tuttle chinook box from chinook France.

That is super impressive he started flying so quickly! Youth and talent right there. You're looking impressive too, windwakerider. If I can be half as proficient in twice the time I'll be happy. Seems the sup might actually be harder than a regular foilboard.
One could go into a mall in Kansas and ask a teenager "What is a surfer looking for?, and the answer will always be, "The perfect wave"
