Maliku dw board rentals?

Curious who to rent DW boards from on Maui and approx costs? Same or more cost around Olukai?

You will not have problems finding good dw boards on Maui. My preferred place is SIC Maui. There is also Naish, Starboard, Second Wind and I am sure others that you can find. Approximately $55 per day for 14ft and around $100 for unlimited. The more days you rent the cheaper per day price becomes. Finding a good paddle will be a biatch.

Price probably won't go up for Olukai but if you don't reserve soon it will get hard to find a good board.  SIC has Bullet 17's  and F16's with rudder you can reserve on their site at sicmauicustom.com and I think Second Wind has a couple as well.  14' boards are easier to find (and cheaper) but the good ones go quick as well.

And as gzas mentions, good paddles are a crap shoot.  I just bring my own.
