I've been Iceboating
Bombogenesis about to occur on East Coast, and may be a bit too much, but for winter stoke...can't beat this movie

Trailer is maybe not awesome, but the film is great...Beautiful cinematography...good stoke story

I watched that last summer. I didn't know it was the trailer. I thought that was the whole movie. Yeah, the trailer is not very good. It didn't make me want to see more.

My local windsurfing crew did some sailing on a local lake. I was never this good.

I had an iceboat back in the '80s. I also had a windsurf ice board and ski board.

The '80s had perfect ice most years because it rained more often than it snowed.

I recently saw UAAS at a local surf shop. Quite stoking to view it on a larger screen w/about 50 people in attendance. If you have NetFlix it's on there now. UAAS just solidifies my desire to see (and surf) Iceland. Another cool movie w/Iceland is "The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty" w/Ben Stiller. No surfing but his character is an awesome skateboarder w/tons of stoke.
