Sunday night repair time...
« on: November 05, 2017, 05:42:37 PM »

If only i could fix the NY Giants with Resin and Hardener..... :'(

Getting into the Sunday night repair grove as my kids go to sleep.  my 1000xxxx repair on my Riviera El Tigre and a pair of garage mishaps on my pop out tomo shape.

i expect both of these to be laid to rest soon- but even for junky boards they surf super fun in the right conditions.  lots of resin and glass/carbon keeping them alive!

honing my repair skills on these boards to get ready for a repair on an expensive one.....:)

Slowly getting my skills up to shape a prone Egg board this winter.  and Maybe a SUP next...

Love it man. I was out in the garage too. What size egg are you moving to?

ive been getting very jealous of a buddy who has a 7'6 Takayama.  it always seems to be the right call when my boards are too short or too long for the conditions,

(I have 2 shortboards (6'4 and step up 6'10) and a longboard by a local shaper.)

Ive been noticing i'd love to get into waves a little earlier but still have a fun platform.

I'd that a Scorpion? That's in my board bucket list for sure.

Not sure which board you see- but not a scorpion.   The Union Jack graphic board is a local guy who started a Pop Out Surf and Sup co..Had Mark Liddell in Hawaii do the shapes then had them produced in Asia.  The Surfboards are under the brand Kingdom and the Sups are under the brand Risotomy.

He had a retails shop that they closed- (manager was a great dude)  and I think he killed off the Sup line completely for 2018- Still has the Kingdom boards around though.

Oh, sorry man, I meant your buddy's 7'6". Takayama Scorpion is one of my favorite mid length board shapes.
