It does work well as a seat but Sue already has a pot of flowers on his head and I'm going to plant a small a small flower garden around it with a Clematis trained as a lei.

Next up is going to be two carved lampposts....pineapple tops for where the lights will go and who knows what on the rest. I may have one double as a mailbox to replace the ugly plastic one we have now...make it a tiki with the mailbox sticking out of his mouth.

Here's the tool you want cowboy. Of course the 1st thing I did was remove the guard so I could get in tight.....

I bought a cheap grinder from harbor freight and just leave it on there.

I have a large birch burl that I need to carve. I'm going to turn it into a large bowl with the bottom being a Tiki face.

Good point Stoney, I tend to overreach on the equipment which has sometimes lead to premature failure...
