I got denied up here today for my first time since the day of the Mavericks contest last year. Really raw swell, just couldn't make it out. There wasn't much reward out there anyway. The forerunners at sunset the night before were pretty awesome though. Showed up with a bang just before the sun dipped, super clean long walls.

That was great. Wow!  The beauty, and the price. 

The lines being drawn here, the deep takeoff at the top of the bowl and then straight down.  That is crowd driven. If you were out alone you might pick a more angled, higher odds line.

Loved the B&W and the names.  Interesting wave compared to Peahi here on Maui.  Twiggy got a great tube here during the contest day before yesterday.
