Are we living in a simulation?  Musk puts the odds as a billion to one that we are.

Sometimes it seems obvious that we are. The simple fact that we (meaning me, but also all of you from your perspective) keep surviving in improbable ways given all the chances we gave the universe to terminate us early, makes a case of sorts that we are the center of a simulation. There's also the way that detail fades so rapidly with distance.
