This is has been around but it's still some of the best footage I've ever seen.  Josh is very strong and these conditions were absolutely epic.

Those new flat rockered DW boards take a lot of concentration.. and seem to need a lot more paddling compared to the older rockered boards.

That is exactly why I love downwinding so much. The second you stop concentrating you slowdown. Endurance for the body and the mind. No way you can focus on any bs outside of what you are doing at that very moment. Around 20 miles is usually when I start to lose focus.

Assuming he was ~20 miles into it, that sprint to get over/into the bump starting at 1:22 is pretty impressive!
