After the 'Hot coat' which like SUPUK said, "is not to be hot, just room temp", you can use just about any paint. The concrete sealers typically have an 'Acrylic Emulsion' polymer base. It works good over epoxy. http://www.valsparpaint.com/en/find-the-right-product/concrete/gloss-wet-look.html
It's not overhead to me!

I'd read up on hot coats, as has been mentioned, it's not about the heat ( just as a hot woman doesn't mean literally) ;)

Also don't be afraid to do a fill coat and sand most of it off and then do a really thin final coat. I  had to do three coats on my first board.

Once the board is laminated and coated, you can use most any kind of finish on it as the eps isn't exposed.

If you want to make your resin flow, just put your container in a tub of hot water for a few minutes before you mix in the hardener. If the hardener is too cold you can also warm it the same way but never put it in a microwave!!!!!

You're on the home stretch...... Sand off as required for the look you want. Then final clear sealer or not. Sanded finish is cool too.

I actually got to this point, stuck some little pieces of deck pad on and paddled it before I even finish the painting. I couldn't wait to get it out and try it. ;D

Move forward and backwards with where you stand on the board. Find the fastest place to stand.
