Probably old news......

In the event its not, stubbled upon this 2012 documentary about Tom Carroll, Ross Clarke-Jones and a host of others looking to surf big waves of AU during their relatively short winter season.

I really enjoyed it and reco it if anyone's bored and needs a fix.

Ross Clarke Jones is a nut!  Loved the propane torch/lighter scene where he's adding special effects to Tom's little remote helo.  Pretty funny.

If ya got NetFlix check this free flick out.

Actually watched this yesterday what a cool movie.
Tom has embraced sup in a big way even more after the movie was made.

Watched this last night. I'm not a surfer, but still really enjoyed this movie. Would definitely recommend it.

I saw it in 3D when it was in theaters. One of the few 3D movies that I think was better in 3D. You could see spray and stuff flying up in front of the camera. That camera angle from up high on the ski rack looking back on the person being towed was awesome in 3D. Cool flick.

That was a great Movie.....Another great Surf DVD I recently got from Netflix was "Step Into Liquid"......probably already mentioned on the zone.
