yep--tend to take a shit/shower/shave each morning regardless--but i think your skin absorbs better immediately after wash and dry--could be imagined, but i think there's something to it--same reason people apply moisturizer right after a shower

I was at a a masters swimming Nationals meet in Santa Clara where they handed out free sunscreen samples to everyone.  The warmup pool was crystal clear in the early AM.  By mid-day, it was completely murky with sunscreen, and so much was coating the pool edge one of my friends got injured from slipping getting out.  Ocean is bigger, but on the other hand that was the impact in only half a day, and with water-resistant sunscreen.  So I can believe what you guys are saying.

Gloves! After a lifetime in the Florida sun, I use paddling gloves I buy at Sports Authority, use the old ones to mow the yard and fly fishing gloves when I jog. I feel naked without gloves now and think they give me a better grip on my paddle.

I've seen the pre-cancers froze off the back of my hands go from a half dozen every six months to zero over the last five years.
