Golden summer days in Michigan

We've enjoyed a few bursts of surf in the Great Lakes, if you can mobilize and get after it when things line up.  During the month of May I won some and lost some on my stretch of shoreline, western lower Michigan about midway up the eastern shoreline of Lake MI.

The recent blog post from Michigan Dawn Patrol covers some of the areas I frequent.  I don't know who runs that page, but from the pics I can tell we shared the same session.

Thanks for the heads up on the Dawn Patrol site.  Those are definitely some of my favorite breaks as well.  Stoked to hear you guys on the West side or getting some nice spring waves.  I hope to be over to join you soon when I get some time from work.
