How do you hand-shape concaves so they are smooth & uniform like the Tomo Evo?

supsurf-tw - I just looked at the photos again and now I see how he would have shaped the singles first because the doubles get progressively deeper as they flow out the tail. Makes sense now. Got it. Thanks.

Do concaves and channels that get progressively deeper out the tail (like this Tomo) enable you to drop in later like a board with kick in the tail will --- even if there's a flatter spot on each side of the concaves/channels at the tail (also like this Tomo)?
