My son and I just finished his paddle

My son Connor and I just finished his paddle
We had a great time in the woodshop and he still has all his fingers!!!
He is stoked!

Hehe Stuey....too many one eyed wood butchers with respiratory problems running around as there is. I know old habits are hard to break for us old guys... ;)

That is really nice work -- you both should be very proud (especially you dad)!

Teaching kids how to use their hands is a rare thing these days and the skills he's learned will pay off all throughout his life.

It's a great bonding experience working with your kids and I wish more people would do it.

I hope you've inspired more dads to get projects going with their kids -- good work!

What's next for you two? A board maybe???

The way he is growing he is going to need a taller one soon

He will hand that one off to his little bro

Connor and I would love to make you a paddle but he says 81 cm may be too short for you :D

We actually just picked up a batch of exotic hardwoods today

We are pretty stoked to play some more
