specs are on the website (www.supearth.com), puts them at 25-30 lbs depending on model, pretty much average range for production boards. 

very interested to see what they'll MSRP for... i'd be stoked if they weren't marked up for their eco materials, but not surprised if they are since it could be more expensive to source.

also interested to see if the quality stands up, how the shapes and materials perform, etc. 

innovation for sure if it passes on all those fronts.

Funny you mention them, their names are Steve & Cindy Scherrer.  Steve is a looooongtime paddler & plays a big role in SUP instruction and training for the ACA (american canoe association).  They were my instructor-trainers when I did my SUP instructor certification last year.  For reals, that dude taught me strokes I didn't even know existed. 

Not sure when he became involved with Bic, but it sounds like a cool gig. 

Steve is a bad-ass on the water!
