For the harder to reach SUP spots, got DJ's 17 Naish Glide on top and the Starboard twins, 9'8 Pro and 8'5 Pro on top and inside. :)

There are 2 possible ways...
The first is ..."I am NOT in much of a hurry" way ..
And the second .."Gotta get into the water right away !"

I knew of this Air Force pilot who had been through every tight scrape in aerial combat that you could imagine in Korea.  Highly decorated.  He was retired in Wahiawa in the 60s and had taken up surfing.  Had an old Ford station wagon in which he carried his heavy longboard.  Some guy is tailing him on his way home.  His speed increases until he turns into his driveway and stops ... too suddenly.  His wife is out in the yard pulling weeds and watches her husband's board fly into the back of his head and kill him.  I know this is a terrible story but with all these big boards placed into cars in odd ways like that picture of the one car with board in through the back... well it just brought up that sad story.  No need to repeat.

Thanks headmount. I will try to remember that if I ever finish my 56 ford wagon. I have temporally lost interest in restoring it since I started  sup.

Sweet! Fuel efficient, fast, and a hatch. That's a real suv! Although that white convertible comes close, Fiat 124? Btw my post was supposed to say Subaru.

Nope, not a 124 though probably a Fiat and almost certainly designed by Bertone. What IS that thing? I like it.

Actually.. that is a 1984 Brazilian Puma from the 70's and 80's. It was a company manufactured kit car built on the top of a VW Bug chassis and all fiber glass.

From the factory it had a 1.6 vw bug engine.  They stopped production on 1986...a few were exported worldwide. This one happens to be in Southern California.

Nice toy car.
And is very common to hear inquires of what is it...including the guys in Porches !  ;)

Glad you like it Pono !

Cheers..
Ren
