Morning eye candy (SIMSUP ST)
« on: October 09, 2014, 10:19:39 AM »
Here's an 8'6 ST Kirk shaped for a buddy of mine who let his kids help come up with the paint design. The kids wanted orange & purple racing stripes. I think they're gonna be stoked. Thanks again Kirk.

Guessing this is your new 7'8 ST getting the carbon applied to the rails.
Interesting....  post em as you get em...

Africa - FYI I decided on going with the L41 3 piece deck pad with kick tail instead of full pad like most guys are doing lately. Kirk says it's what he uses on his ST.

firesurf, ya, I'm not sure if that's my 7'8" getting the carbon rails or if it's my buddy's 8'6".

free, both of us are going with the Von Sol Big Square tail pad.  He's going to go with wax on the deck.  I think I'm going to buy a roll of the FCS Dimple Pad and custom cut/apply it.

Here's a great shot of Boludo on his ST (which you might have already seen). He went with a Von Sol Big Square tail pad and an FCS Dimple deck pad.

I don't think it's an ST - I think it's one of Kirk's boogie boards...  :-)

A shot of my 7'8 ST with a fresh set of carbon rails, and one of my buddy's 8'6 lined up with my 7'8.

Ordered.... nice!  What'd you go with?

No paint on my board--I'm going all black & white.  My buddy's paint is all finished (orange/purple racing stripes for the kids).  I think they both just need a bit more glassing and then they'll be ready to go.

8.0 S3
S Glass, carbon rails with v-net on bottom.
Loud colors too!  ;D :D
No pad as I already have that FCS dimpled sitting here, but after seeing Free's new ST 7'8" with the 3 piece L41 pad w/kick tail, I'm now considering same for my board.
