Challenge on the Charles - last call - registration closes soon

CotC this Saturday, 7/19. Great venue, great race, great people, great food, great beer, great wine, great band, great party, for a GREAT cause.

Argh, I can't make this (again, stupid weddings!), and double argh because there's no LSP this year.  I signed up anyway just to donate.

Too bad the Charles and Blackburn are on same day.  How do we get the organizers to coordinate next year?  20+ paddles registered for Blackburn, not sure how many for the Charles.

I hear you PTTP.  I help organize the Challenge on the Charles but would love paddle the Blackburn.  Unfortunately the SUP event landscape is so busy these days if we didn't conflict with the Blackburn we would with another event.  Take this year...The Paddle for Plummer was last weekend & The Paddle to the Point is the weekend after the Charles.  Both great events which I would be bummed to have our event conflict with.  So many events...so little time.

We are up to about 45-50 paddlers so far  and expect to end up with 55-60.

You should come down to the Charles after the Blackburn and numb your aching bones with a bunch of cold Wachusetts!
