I actually had my Go Pro in my bag but did a brain fart and forgot to get it out. I hope conditions are good next year. I had a thought as I was leaving about setting it up 1/2 way up the dune and doing a time lapse of the whole day.

I do have some video from my little point and shoot, mostly from the final heat of the surf comp. I'll try to get it edited and on youtube this weekend.

I'll start cherry picking some of weeds FB pics to post here. He has some awesome shots.

Cool shots weed. This one caught my eye:


The easy way to paste a photo here from facebook is to right-click on it and select "copy image location" then come to the Zone and paste it in between the img tags. Of course it winds up at the size Facebook crops to. There must be a way to specify photo crop size in the tag syntax, I just don't know what it is.

Ah, here it is, add width = 800 to the first tag

Hmmm. That's a little buggy. Vigilink seems to be screwing up some of the links. Admin, any comments?

Problem Bill is I have 3,000 photos to weed thru at high resolution then have to shrink it down under 1mb to post on the zone. I tried making folders with zoners posted them on Facebook hoping they would post here while I was still processing the rest. C'mon Creek post some photos.

Actually those are facebook links that I posted. No need to shrink (I don't think) and if someone wants to see the picture at full res they just click on it. Still a PITA, but maybe a little easier.

   I was only able to make the surf contest part of the event, but it was great to take part and see everyone for the start of stoke season!

   On a crappier note, I lost my phone yesterday, and yes, all my contacts and photos. I was eligible for an upgrade and got a free phone to replace it. What a great day. Great job with pics everyone. My granddaughter is so proud of her trophy..... She had such a fun day, keeps talking about it. The folks from Kind were stoked....she gave out about 50 bars and then started delivering Polar samples to everyone. She's been pretty determined to become a "surfer girl" for awhile now (tells me we can share my truck for surfing... )...asked her Mom if she could practice in the pool today. Got to remind her to stack her shoulders...
