I've paddled them but not on a downwinder yet.. The guys with them are raving about how well they go.. Dave (in my vid) said that he likes it more than his 14' Bullet (in our conditions)..

Let's hope next time they are not too far ahead and I can get some vid that shows them working.

The wind funnels through there often doubling the wind speed.. and it was about 30 knots out there.. Carrying a board in that wind is hard enough but add my big camera mount and I guess it caught the wind.. lifted the nose into the air.. causing it to catch more wind under the board.. Getting out at the end is often the most dangerous part of downwinders and it's a good time to help each other.

The board in that vid is not the new shape Naish.. It's just the new colors.. Same shape as the 2012-2013 board.

Naish have started production of the new shape in the GX (carbon) construction but not yet made any GS (AST) boards yet.. They are due at the end of October..

I did take a new shape 14' Glide on a downwinder yesterday and got some vid that I will post soon.. It's a shop demo board in the GX construction.... I was awesome.. So fast.. So stable.. and so much fun..
