Until you said Vespa I had an image in my head of you on something old and British (a Guzzi would do as well) with a side hack with a dog in it and a sup on a trailer behind.

My Google fu did not turn up any commercial products, but lots of home made trailers.

This discusses using a bike trailer behind a scooter

There is no way I'd do tha.  One good gust of wind and you are in the next lane.

I'd have to agree with sup romer. Unless you are riding a sup that is small by anyone's standards, you're inviting a terrible accident, and that comes from a Vespa enthusiast. A trailer would be much safer for you, that is until someone crashes into the trailer...,

I had a board rack on my yamaha razz and I'd ride from diamond head down to Ala Moana with a body board strapped down and even that small amount of surface area was like a sail. In the end I just put the board on the seat and sat on it for the 15 minute drive. I'm not sure that would work for a sup.

I appreciate everyone's concern. I have a bike and a "mule" trailer that I use to get the board to and from the beach -- from Venetian island to South Beach, Miami Beach, Fl. approximately 4 miles, all protected urban-type route, to our local mushy beach break. No real speed to speak of so there's no risk of getting blown off line.

The mule is a bit of a pain to set up and I also heard from somebody that the local cops will ticket you for having a trailer off a motorcycle (or scooter) without proper badging, registration, license plate, etc. I have the scooter and thought ... hey ... let me check with the Zone.
C, I'd love a Guzzi (or a Triumph) but I know from past that horsepower would be wasted in this setting.
