Slow Carb Diet / Four Hour Body
« on: January 29, 2013, 04:58:08 AM »
Has anyone else done this diet?

I'm about 2 weeks in and I really like it so far and the results have been great, actually....Trying to slim down a bit and this seemed like something I could live with...

Tim Ferriss' approach to life seems to always do everything "all the way", whats cool is that he documents and tests everything and then presents what works..  I don't know either of them personally, but I imagine that he and Pono are similar creatures....

I've been doing a variation of this for the past couple of years and it works great.  Once you get used to lack of variety it becomes easier.  Great book.  Now try the 4 hour Chef.  Another fun one.

I'm on week #3 I think and starting to get dialed in.....dropped about 12lbs so far w/ no real exercise...  I love the fact that I'm not hungry on this... you can eat all the carbs you want, just gotta make sure they're the right kind.  After Tim explains why "white carbs" are white, you don't really wanna eat them anyway....  Of course being a good New Yorker, pizza is a tough one...
