Paddle session tracker

Hey all,

Any thoughts or ideas about an app or GPS device that fellow zones use to track their sessions?  I remember seeing something posted on this topic a little while back, but couldn't find the thread. 

I am looking for something to track total distance, time on the water, heart rate, etc.  I have read about the Garmin Fit app, but it has gotten mixed reviews (it's only .99)

Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated.

I use MotionX-GPS app for the Iphone. It works very well, and seems to be very popular with zoners. Mine is about a year old, so there may be newer ones as well.

I use Motion X as well.  Don't know if you can hook up heat rate or not since I don't use that.  I like it but haven't used any others.

I use Rubitrack on the Mac. I think it's more expensive than the typical 99 cent app, but the charts, maps, etc are excellent. Works great with the Garmin 310xt.

Motion x does hook up to heart rate monitors.
