C4 Waterman 10 30

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this board. I am moving up from a bulky beginner board and was looking for something more maneuverable. I am 220ish and the waves I surf most of the time are mushy 1-4 Hawaiian scale. I have been demoing a few boards and tried the Sub Vector 10 which didn't seem to have the glide I was looking for but I am nervous that the 10 30 is going to be sluggish in the turns.I did get to demo the 10 30 but only for a short time in some small waves. Does anyone have any input with this board?

no but i am interested in the  da beach boy 10'6" x32 so any one with info on that  lets hear it.

I have had both boards through the Shop.

This was the first production of the "New" C4's
after the split with Boardworks.

My Take:

The Featherlite Construction is Light.
The Quality as far as consistency and finish was hit and miss.

Some very nice Boards and then some not so nice.
Issues, some resin starvation in spots, pin lines shabby, improper packaging.
Construction was a little light and cracked or dinged in my opinion
too easily.

Shapes look good.
Generally on the Floaty side for the length.
Price Point very reasonable.
Hopefully the next run will be better..

I'm 220ish as well, I have not tried the C4 boards, but my friends like them.  I tried several Naish boards.  A few of the big Nalu's and the 10' Mana (a couple hours on each board).  I tried them all on the same small waves 0-2ft, no wind, next to flat island and the 10' Mana turned noticeably better and surprisingly caught the small ones.  I've recently gotten on a couple bigger waves 2-3ft, and it feels stable but turns well!  I would try out a 10' Mana and see what you think.

Just a regular joe opinion, I've only ridden a beginner sup, 11'x34" and Naish, so not sure if other boards are better in the surf, I just remember a significant difference between the Nalu and Mana, maybe it's just the board is shorter with smaller fins.
