ULI Pump

I've got an older 11' ULI Steamroller, and I'm starting to get in the waves with it, but I notice quite a bit of bend in the middle when I'm riding. I don't have the original pump, so I've  been using a kiteboarding pump. The only issue is I don't have a PSI gauge, so I'm not certain it's to the required PSI.

So, first off, does anyone have any issues surfing these on a knee to waist high wave, and second, what's a good pump with gauge that won't cost a fortune. Would a regular kiteboarding pump work sufficiently?

I have the current ULI pump and several kitesurfing pumps.  The ULI pump is built to produce much higher pressures.

I pump my kites to about 7 psi (hard enough to make the bladder sound like a little drum).  The kite pump has a shorter stroke and a larger plunger head - in my opinion designed to push more air and top out at lower psi.

I pump my ULI FAQ up to 20 psi.  Getting the pressure up to 20 psi from 15 psi takes as much effort to get it from 0 to 15.  Stroke is as long as a bike pump's and has similar plunger diameter (think about the psi you get bike tires up to - 60 psi).

I cannot imagine getting any of my kite pumps to work like the ULI pump.

I use a electric pump for dinghy's that gets it up to about 14 psi...then use the ULI pump to get it to 20psi.....not much flex...some, but very little.

Wow that's tight. My Tower iSUP only needs to go to 11psi or so. Even that is a friggin workout the last 2-3 p's.
