FCS or Futures Fins? Which one is mine?

My fin on my All-Around SUP has a crack in it, so I was thinking about upgrading it to a new one.  But as I look around on the internet I see you either have a Futures Box or a FCS Box, how do I find out which one I have?

Futures fin boxes are a slot style (sidebites), the fin foot is about the same length and slides into the slot.

FCS fins have tabs and the fin box consists of 2 tab slots for the fin to fit into.

What does this have to do with you upgrading?

Futures: one opening with single screw in front

FCS: 2 smaller openings with a screw on the side of each.

The tricky one is Rivieras box. Looks like Future but is FCS. Two set screws on the side makes it FCS. they have there own fin but FCS does work in the system.

H2Oman - from what I understand, you have to get the right one to fit your board (fin box).  It seems like they don't interchange.  FCS only fits FCS and Futures only fits Futures.  Is this correct?  I am assuming that is what you mean.

So when I upgrade, I want to make sure it fits.

You won't have any issues with the center fin, only the sidebites.   Unless you have a bunch of fins that you really like, I wouldn't let the fin box direct my purchase, especially for an all-around board.

The slots on your board should tell you which ones you have and which ones will fit....
