The sponsors are adding up. To the who's bringing the beer question, that would be Kona of course. Headhunter, Pocket Fuel, FCS, and Boardworks have joined the Gorge Performance force.

I'll toss in something long and light, even though you've scheduled it so I won't be there for the first one, and barely for the second. You must have heard how skinny and powerful I've become this winter and just don't want the competition.

It's a dirty lie. Fat and slow like always.

All right!  No PonoBill means if I can find an unlimited board to borrow, I might win that division.  Unless someone else has that same idea.

Bill good to hear that you be around for the WPA Ross Island Race. I am carrying more than an extra six pack right now (6X12 oz's) looking to shed some displacement. Dino has a 19' O'hana that can put an unlimited trophy on your desk for only $1900. I will add Ke Nalu to the sponsor list.

Only Bill has run unlimited in the past. We really should just make it a Bill class. If there are more than 5 unlimited boards we will make a class. You can always paddle with the rest and we will score your  time and tell you how great your board looks.

Not so, Mr. Bob. The first year both Rod and Mark had F18s and I'm pretty sure Karen Wrenn did a couple on a 17 Javellin. Not sure what I'm gonna use this year, I have a nice woodie Jav 14, but it's not the most stable platform for Mr. Wobbles. Hard to go fast then every other stroke is a balance check. Maybe I'll have to drag out the world's heaviest F18.

Looks like I'm gonna be there for the first race--Diane had to go back to help her family with a medical crisis, so I'm headed back too. Not as much fun here without her. Kind of odd, she doesn't even surf!!

Hope all get well with Dianes family.
It just seems that Karen is on a 17.
I do remember now the big gray SIC. As I recall he went out a little too hot .
I am headed to Maui on the 20th, looks like we will cross paths.
Glad you can make the Ross Island event, hope Diane can make it too.

Bill if you need a fast stable 14 I know a guy that can create a custom that would work for your style.
We also have a number of demo 14s so you won't have to pull the Naish from the mantel.
Tim was another unlimited . He has your old 15' point.

Even without an unlimited class, the Ross Island race will have unlimited class.

With the way things are looking there is no way I will be in shape for the long course so if an 14' Hobie would be stable enough you can try that. I figure I will be doing the short course and hoping to finish while there still is light.

Just two weeks away . Kona is bringing the beer, Pocket fuel has got the energy, Bills' KeNalu is throwing in a paddle, Boardworks got some boards, FCS and Xcell will round out the goody bag. Oh yes and mother nature will bring it in what ever form she wants. We are ready!
Bring it all on.
Thanks to all the sponsors.

Bob--I hope you're not planning to mark the course with chalk until race day.  With all this rain, it's just going to wash away if you do it before then.

Actually if it rains enough, you could just start the race from your parking lot.
