I was looking for this for a previous post but couldn't remember the name. Definitely nice to have. My better half sometimes sits on the beach taking pics. Bought her a nice point and shoot with a great zoom for it. But half the shots are of seagulls or seals and she has never, not once, caught that really nice ride.

You're right, theft would be an issue.  But it does look like it has all kinds of possibilities beyond surfing use.

Guy with his new camera approaching  pretty woman like the one in the ad:

Guy:  "Excuse me, would you mind guarding my camera while I surf?"
Woman:  "Sure, no problem".
Guy:  "Thanks a lot.  I really appreciate it."

haha......no you're not.....or I would have met you by now!!  I've seen them four or five times over the past month or so, but no checker-painted paddle shaft out there with them.

i finally got out today PC after work-pretty fun after i took 22 on the head-no joke i counted!
still a fun sesh though-more size than i thought-hopefully my dawn patrol sessions are fun next week.

What a brilliant idea   anyone see them in action?  My concerns would be that you are supposed to have about 30 feet on each side of you in the frame and that would change as you ride in.  Plus does it moove quick enough?  in  the vids it looks like it might lag behind a bit.

Contacted soloshot a couple times by email to purchase and have had no replies in over a week.  Anyone else have contact with them?
