I love the Kona Brewing Co. Longboard Lager.  It is my favorite beer.  I just tried to order a Longboard t-shirt, but they were sold out in my size.   :(

Some pics of Cameron Healy's beautiful Porsche/Cooper (Pooper) in this gallery http://www.peyoterace.com/AATour/slides/DSC_0541.html  and my homely little TR3 powered special: Peyote.

For those that might have lost the thread, Cameron is the founder of Kona Brewing among other things (also founded Kettle Chips)

PonoBill,
Man I'd love to talk cars with you one of these days.  Where is that track and road coarse at (from the pictures).  Looks beautiful.  I used to track cars for fun, mostly tracks in SoCal, Nevada, and Arizona.

It's bunch of different tracks, but the really pretty one is probably Virginia International Raceway (VIR). The one with all the rock walls is Schenly Park in Pittsburg where they hold the Pittsburg Vintage Grand Prix. Very spooky track with all those walls, bridges and fire hydrants to hit, but lots of fun racing in a city park. I built a car hauler out of a 34 foot Airstream trailer and then did a five month trip around North America, racing at most of the famous tracks. Big fun.

The local distributor was one of the sponors for our "My Aloha" race on Lake Norman this past summer.  I was lucky enough to walk away with this.  PS - Love the beer also!

SUP renters(friends of Kona) came by over the holidays with a case of assorted Konas  . The Coco is now a favorite of the family. Yes you can taste the coconut. Best tip ever.

Hey Ian and all, I just checked out their website. If you allow it to get your location, it will show you on a map of your area where you can find it at bars and in stores. Very cool feature. Sweet ride Dan, I'm jealous!!

Hello, I’m new to this board and SUPPING, and of all things to make my first post on is beer (priorities you know).  Anyway, Kona brewing is decent, but have any of you guys (and gals) heard of or tried Maui Brewing Co?  Their coconut porter is to die for and their wipeout IPA is unusually hoppy for a single IPA.  Plus, all the beer under the name is actually brewed at the brewery in Maui, not contracted out elsewhere.  http://mauibrewingco.com/.  BevMo carries it.

And if you look closely in the picture of the airstream at the mall you'll see my then future 1st SUP on Bill's truck.... ;D

OK...back to beer! Great looking poster...and I like adios's idea. If we didn't already have such a great beer sponsor for the CCBC in Wachusett Brewing I'd give Kona a yell. Pono usually has them well stocked at the house but I've never had one out here.

Very fond of the various flavors from Maui Brewing. But if you go to the Big Island, the Kona there, and for that matter, any draft Kona you get on Maui, is all made at the Brewpub. Along with some excellent food that makes several pints disappear effortlessly.

It was pretty far inland last June or so. Have not seen what was probably its initial delivery back again. Definately good stuff. Definately coconut taste.......which suprisingly......only made the good beer.........good.
