just straddle the finger box with the strap and it`s centered.then you can use either or.

The EZ plug is a comfy handle to grip and not but to stand on. I have had them give way. I replaced the easy plug on my wifes board and the deck came of with the plug trying to remove it. Some work some don't. Can't tell which one is which.
