She looks great, but I've watched her sibling throw a good rider off on a flat lake.  Board speed can come at price.

Has Corren been given the Zone Boot?  Its been quite here and I saw that the last Image press release got removed.  Shame.

H2O,

Corran flaunting the rules... Say it isn't so!

I thought I saw a post of his this week somewhere...

So Cal,

Let's touch base tmrw night and rally the crew... Gonna hit a north county spot tmrw at dawn for some pre-office de stressing.

H2O,

Indeed.  There is a stiff price for speed. The price is extracted directly from my thighs, calves and core.  On the other hand, my friends have been calling me "the unit" lately... Not quite sure what that means...

It has taken quite a while for me to be able to confidently open up the throttle while riding her.  In the slop, speed is necessary... And when you slow down, or paddle plant for balance, she mocks you like a prepubescent teenager trying to punch above his weight... And unceremoniously deposits you in the water and dares you to try to get back on.

In the flats, Candi gives you a little more slack... But don't spend a lot of time looking back to talk to a friend on her boat while paddling away or Candi may just humiliate you... Or so I have heard.

Chazz is for the cruises... Or the ocean dialed up to eleven...

Candi is for challenging yourself... Ride for two hours on Candi, after two hours on Adam or the Collab... And then try to pretend that "it is all good" while walking with the wife and dog in Laguna... Now THAT is a challenge!

H2O,

I don't think that Corran has been given the "Zone Boot" but think that Imagine's acquisition by the Pryde Group has probably required an adjustment of their advertising strategy... and that adjustment has probably led to a temporary pause in Imagine's Zone sponsorship... which has likely lead to Corran's brand pimping posts being deleted.

Full disclosure, Corran is a good mate and I surf with him lots, (Along with the Imagine Brand Manager Adam Cumming).  We talk heaps of design... business, not so much.  But from what I understand about the Pryde Group is that this deal will allow Adam and Corran to focus on design and manufacturing and they will be leveraging the Pryde Group's distribution network.

I am looking at this as a win win for me... more prototypes to blow my mind... my mates not having to travel quite as much so we can surf more...

Any Admin, not trying to pimp a brand... just to give information...

Thanks,

Tim
