weight vs volume question

I am 6'4" 210 lbs and have been surfing for many years and paddling for 2. I am currently riding a 10 @ 162 liters and am looking for a 2nd shorter option... the board i have been eyeballing is 8'0 x 29 and 130 liters... would this be pushing it? and what type of stability (or lack of) could i expect? Thanks.

Hi Aves.
I'm 6'3 and 215 lbs. and I'm currently riding a 2011 BC Pocket Rocket without any kind of problem. Smaller/bigger, glassy/choppy conditions it's all the same. Nice and easy!
I've surfed the Hokua 8'5 @115L and had a blast, and I'm currently looking forward to give it a try on the upcoming Starboard Pro 8'0 X 28 @110L. I've also surfed the Hokua 7'8 @105L and although it was challenging to say the least, I had a blast. 

As for stability problems you should expect coming from such a big board, I think you will feel a bit weird with the longitudinal swing of the board in the begining, but then you'll get used to it.
