Hydrofoil SUP. Would that work?

Was just wondering if you'd be able to get enough speed to get a hydrofoil SUP going. I'm not sure how much drag a SUP has and how much it would be reduced by a hydrofoil but it's an interesting thought. I also have no idea how much speed you need to get it to lift you out of the water. If it worked it would be great for flat water racing. Reduced drag = higher speed. You'd need a longer paddle for when it's gonna lift you out of the water. That would give you greater reach.... Did anyone ever experiment with that? I'm thinking a hydrofoil on the font and one on the back for equal lift. What do you guys think?

Their are videos on here of some guys doing it.  Do a search and you will find it.  I would like to see a DW board with one on it.
