My Bonga Perkins got some new skin

The original skin (deck pad) was peeling off so decided to try some new skin. What a pain in the butt. The new skin works great and holds well. Here are some new pics.

Byronmaui nice job im starting mine this week.Thanks for posting the pictures im going to use the same C4 pad on my Bonga was nice to see the comparsion gives me a good idea what it will look like.

I would think a heat gun might work nicely?

That looks like the pad that I was thinking about putting on my wifes new Oxbow (same as they put on for the showcase) but Bill thought it was too soft and soaked up some water. He suggested something thinner. What are your thoughts? My wife will likely wear reef boots anyway. I did like that pads feel.

Stoneaxe - The pad combo I have on the board are as follows. The grey nose are curtesy of Foote, Middle black area is Second wind pad and tail is something Foote had sitting around. These were my scraps that I used. As far as water weight I don't notice any difference wet or dry. I am more concerned about foot traction and comfort. My favorite deck pads are C4 and DaKine.
