Heli Surf Cam

Bo Bridges is a local Photograper here in Hermosa Beach, CA.  He shoots pros in all kinds of action sports, http://www.bobridges.com/.  Anyway, he has been working with a remote control helicotper that is holding a digital SLR camera shooting video.  See the picture below.  He is just starting to get the camera dialed in, and I have been doing stand up as a "stand in" for what ever pro will be getting shot next.  This morning we shot off of the Hermosa Pier with the Heli cam as a friend and I SU surfed.  I can't wait to see the footage, but for now, I thought that you all would get a kick out of the helicopter.

The video on his site is amazing. I have to contact him, I was talking to a client today who wanted some heli footage for a show they were doing and they were wondering how to find a cameraman for it.

good stuff Sobay- i was in town today and stopped into his gallery-he wasnt there but i l ooked around for a while-great pics in his gallery.  Hermosa blown out again today!-man when is this wind going to stop!

tell him to try one of these..it comes with a cam, that you can see realtime on your phone...it is super easy to control. I'm not kidding.

Bad thing, better not land it in water. Battery time is about 15 mins.

I have seen those...they are cheaper too.  This one is about $15k!
