Maui Paddlers/Surfers for Hire?

Hey there,
I am going to be in Maui for a week starting Wednesday, March 30th (holy crap I just realized that's tomorrow!) and have a couple questions:

Would any Maui locals be free to hire for a SUP surf lesson for my brother and an intermediate downwinder escort for myself? We need to grab gear also, so if that came with great, if not we would find a place to rent.

I know it's short notice but I am happy to pay any reasonable price for your time, I just want to get my brother up on his first wave (don't worry, he's very athletic) and I would love to sample my first Hawaiian downwinder with a local. I have four years SUP experience on flatwater and wind waves, and have surfed an SUP a handful of times, so not an expert but not a beginner;)

So if anyone's game or could point me in the right direction that would be very much appreciated!

Good timing. Big swell, and the wind should be back soon. You might even get a Maliko run in if the stars align. You might want to PM Bill Boyum (headmount). He does that kind of stuff when he has time and he's a fine and patient instructor. He teaches windsurfing for one of the local companies, is a well known surfer and downwind SUP expert. Google him sometime and read his wikipedia entry. The boy has been around. You couldn't find a better guide.
