We have had an Albatross  in demo for a year and its held up well. They have a thick automotive paint job . The paint can chip if whacked hard on a rock, but harder than a paddle scuffing. The Albatross is one of my favorite everything board.

i luv the jimmy line! only company that i can have consistent dependable surf, kite, & paddle equipment all in one company. thanks ken & jimmy! i use a 9'4" mano for surf and the 10,6" all-around for everything else... race, cruise, fish, & train.

Jimmy's Cruise Control (all arounds) Albatross, and Hanalei's are very stable boards and will work well for beginners. They are well built, quality boards.
