I really like the Ez plug handles better than the hand holes, I find its way easier to pick the board up out of the water with just one hand. no chance of sticking a toe in the hole or twisting the fingers when its very windy. I did have one pull off. glued it back with 3M 5200 its not coming off ever!

I dont think you can go wrong for $400, That thing will float you like a cork. Having fun learning on board thats big and easy to ride is the way to go. Tracy I think the add said only used a few times! sound like a winner maybe hes got a paddle too!.They should let you demo it. 55

I like the feel of the 1.5 mil xcels. I cant wear thick gloves holding the paddle.1.5s are warm if you dont get flushed too many times. I get a NJ winter out them before they start wearing down between the thumb and index fingers from gripping the paddle.
