Any board can get dinged no matter what the construction is. That looks like a pretty tiny crack on a white rail. Any good ding repair guy can make that disappear.

It's hard to believe that this is even being debated.

Andy died a mysterious and unexpected death.
Xanax, Methadone and Cocaine were found in his system at the time of death.
To think that these were not contributing factors is ridiculous.

Sure, there could have been contributing issues with a bad heart but it is very possible the heart condition was brought on by his hard partying lifestyle.

As mentioned previously, an expert can be bought to say anything. I would bet that 9 out of 10 unbiased experts would agree that the chemical cocktail found in Andy's body at the time of death did in fact contribute to his heart attack.

I was a big fan but at the same time like to keep it real.

RIP Andy.

recently switched from a fiberglass paddle that snapped to a Werner Fuse and love it. a good paddle definitely makes a big difference.

I am still blown away (no pun intended) at how much fun i have and what i can do on a SUP when the waves are good and clean VS. how much of a kook i become when the wind and the chop come out... practice, practice, practice i guess. Any tips or words of wisdom on dealing with bumpy, choppy, windy conditions?

this has probably been discovered and discussed but i came across this stuff accidentally and it appears to be the perfect paddle guard...

Scotch 3M Professional Grade 2228 Moisture Sealing Electrical Tape - It is basically like normal electrical tape but it is .065 inches thick. I got a roll of 1" x 4' x .065" thick tape at Lowes for about $4.

Provides way more padding than normal electrical tape and not nearly as messy as that door flashing stuff i have used.

Hopefully it holds up well overtime and doesn't rub off to bad on the rails.

Not real strong and doesn't float real well but man is it tasty...
