Thanks for always keeping the stoke up no matter what! Be safe and have fun on your trip. I'm bummed Jon and I aren't around to take you paddling in NY on your way through. Jon's in CR and my wife and I had to relocate to WA. Keep the pics and vids coming. Hoping to have some myself of WA soon.

One time I made some barriers out of pvc pipe utilizing the threaded pieces so that I could set up and take down easily. I lost the pics, but they looked like hurdles. The top bar had 90 degree threaded elbows that the legs screwed into. I used some t's at the bottom for feet. Very portable. Hope this helps.

Early one morning, I was paddling my local go to lake. I rounded one of the islands, and way up ahead I saw a small silhouette up ahead. It was still dusk like, so hard to make out, but definitely not a duck or other water fowl but it was moving across the channel to the island. I finally got close enough, and lo and behold, a deer swimming towards the island! I imagined him getting out there and not being able to get back to the mainland. So I paddled between him/her and the island and herded him back to shore. It was amazing!

Well said. Trash talking after your team gets beaten is pretty silly. Chaser touched on it, but as sports fans, you have to take your medicine when things are bad, knowing how sweet it will be when things do turn around for your team. Great example is the Sox ie. implosion 2 yrs ago followed by last place last year, and now the euphoric feeling of another WS. And if you live in enemy territory so to speak, maybe it's time to move.
