HIGH SURF ADVISORY FOR NORTH AND EAST FACING SHORES


Surf along north facing shores will be 10 to 15 feet with locally higher sets possible to 20 feet through Wednesday.

Got the call and picked up my new 17 footer today.  Some fun (slopey, sloppy, but fun) North Shore waves today followed by the arrival this new downwind treat. Now that will bring a smile to the face.  16'11 x 26.5 x 6.

Standup Journal and Standup Zone have teamed up on a fun little project.  It is a weekly photographic stoker that will come to your email, newsletter style. 

As it contains a photo, it is not unlikely that it will be handled as junk by your spam filter or spam service if you are using one.  If that is the case, be sure to check your junk today, and "whitelist" the address (if you want to see these).

The photos will be top notch, like you are used to seeing in Stand Up Journal, and will be unique to this little endeavor.

Downwind and Racing / Foote Downwinder takes shape

Here are some shots that Bill sent when she was fresh out of the shaping machine.  This is on its way to becoming a 14 footer.  Since these were taken, its been hand shaped.  Now it gets a bunch of holes bored out of it for weight savings, a thin EVA deck vacuum bagged on for strenghth, and then a nice carbon wrapper.  STOKED!
