ML- ya that's what I thought. 800 and 600 is all the buzz right now in the Mike's Lab world. Are you using that super tiny stabilizer? I think it's too small. At least for me. Makes the foil feel really unstable and porpoises. Wonder why they came up with that size? 32 cm. It's smaller than the stabilizer on my Bullet 3 kitefoil. And I wish they would make a big brother to the 800 for light wind course racing with a 100cm wingspan. That would be really great. Sorry off topic but relevant.

Very strong board all carbon by Camet. Took a lot of work getting the leash out of the board.

Yes exactly!! I hit a fish and crashed, board spun around wrapping the NSI leash around my mast. Started riding again and didn't notice the leash had wrapped around the mast. Rode for awhile and hit another fish at speed dental flossing the tail of my board. Big striped bass all over the place.

Almost 3 years of winging and never punctured a wing but I did do this to a new board recently by being stupid AND hitting a fish. Can anyone tell by the pic how my stupidity came in to play?

Tuesday nights it is. That's the only night they could give us so we'll take it. I guess we're obliged to get tacos and beer afterward. The word is out with alot of interest from the local pro sailing community. Bristol Yacht Club put on a SailGP "Foiling First" event last summer and this will expand on their commitment to promote foil racing . Should be a great summer!! Please come join.

We are launching our weekly wing foil racing series with a foil fest weekend hosted by Cabrinha.  Please go to the website above and to the racing (weekly) page to sign up for the racing.  The racing is meant to be fun and inclusive and will give us all a chance to learn and improve.  The price for the whole series - 8 races plus the practice session - is $60 and is free for juniors.  The Cabrinha demo weekend is for all and you can try their latest gear.  They will also have coaches available so if you have friends or family that want to learn they can attend and have lessons.  No cost for the demo weekend.  Please feel free to pass along to others.  If all goes well we will also host an end of season championship regatta.  Happy winging!

Never been there but windsurfer Josh Angulo lives on Sal and wings there along with his son. He says it's good spot for winging. Looks there is some info online from some of the other islands.

Packing away the new Unit is a breeze. I love the new bags. You definately need to be careful with the corners of the handles and your board. Real potential for damage there. I took one to the chest already which didn't feel good so that's a consideration as well. Not a good wing for beginners IMO.

I'm glad you had a good experiece from a knowledgable and skilled PA. I'm a PA and don't work in orthopaedics but do some musculoskeletal procedures. Don't forget about walking. Really one of the best things you can do for so many reasons.

Beasho- I met Paul this fall winging down in south county RI. He's the mayor for sure! There's a big crew of super stoked foilers down there. I had an epic wing session at that spot in the pics on a strong east wind with sizable surf a month ago or so. Paul said I was the first guy to score that setup there. There are some other SUPfoilers who ride all summer at some semi secret surf spots on the other side of the state. There's alot of downwinding going on in the Newport area as well in big, open ocean conditions. And this is just Rhode Island. Cape Cod has some unique setups too. So much foiling conditions to explore in New England.
